About Paul Attalla
Spending 100 days at sea testing my physical and mental limits has appealed to me for many years. When I first heard about the Atlantic Rowing Race, I discussed it with my girlfriend Nicole, who is now my wife. We agreed that undertaking such a crossing as an organized race rather than an independent project would be safer. As a couple, we've dreamed of my eventual participation in this ultra-endurance event for a long time.
In the past seven years, we have grown as a family while simultaneously preparing for the hardest endurance race in the world. Nicole and I have gotten married, had children, and developed my chiropractic practice, while concurrently working toward our shared goal. In May 2007, I officially qualified for the race, and I am now eligible to enter the first Canadian boat.
